Acton Park pond planting day – Volunteers Needed

Volunteers needed to help with planting around the end of the pond in Acton Park.
We were awarded with some money from the council to improve the pond – but we wanted the fence to be repaired or replaced before work started. That is now happening … so the time has come to plant.
Thee plants have been ordered, so we now need people to help with the tidying and planting.
Council Park Rangers will be working in the water and will be around to give guidance if needed.

Note – we now have enough volunteers and do not have the space or equipment for more. Do not come along except to watch from outside the fence to give encouragement!
