The banking hub located inside The Oaks shopping centre has been up and running since June 2023 – following a celebrity launch with Martin Lewis and, local MP, Rupa Huq.
It is operated link a simple bank – but with multiple banks supported.
You can:
- Withdraw cash
- Deposit cash
- Collect change (registered business customers)
- Check your account balance
- Pay utility bills
- Deposit cheques
It is open Monday to Friday between 9am-5pm and the Community Bankers will work on rotation, with a different bank or building society available on each day of the week – at the time of writing this the schedule is:
Monday: Natwest
Tuesday: Barclays
Wednesday: Lloyds Bank
Thursday: Nationwide Building Society
Friday: Santander
If you bank with someone else you can still use the services of the banking hub – and if you are with one of the banks mentioned above you can still perform banking services at the hub whenever it is open not only on the day that you bank has a representative in place.
